Everyone has a part to play!

It takes a lot to keep things moving at the Dream Center. Like cogs in a machine, every volunteer plays a vital roll in what we do. Together, we can shine a brighter light in Lakeland! Here are a few of the ways you can serve at the Dream Center:

We love partnering with churches, businesses, schools, and organizations to bring resources to our community. Our desire is to empower groups and leaders to meet needs right here in Lakeland.

If you have an organization or church group, such as a small-group or youth ministry, that you would like to get involved with consistent, life-changing mission, we'd love to discuss possibilities with you. We provide the materials and training, you just bring the team.

If your group is interested in our Outreach or Community Engagement Teams, please click to contact: Nick Dell.

If your group is interested in helping to lead a semester program, please click to contact: Steve Hill

There is a great mission field to reach, and it starts right here in Lakeland.

Street Reach

The Dream Center depends on incredible volunteers to help bring hope to our neighbors. Volunteers help operate distributions, lead programs, mentor students, serve neighborhoods, organize donations, drive, build, clean, cook, and much more.

If you are interested in finding out more about the Dream Center and how you can be part of our team, we want to invite you to join us for our First Saturday Serve & Learn. We've found this is a great way to experience the Dream Center first-hand and learn about current opportunities to get involved.

Our First Saturday Serve & Learn Days occur on the First Saturday of every month. Join us at the DC Pavilion behind our Cafe (640 W 5th Street). Everyone is welcome, but minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

  • 9:00 AM: Welcome and Intro to the Dream Center

  • 9:30 AM: Service Projects

  • 11:30 AM: Lunch & Volunteer Overview

(Please note: If you are interested in volunteering with Kids Club, You can go directly to our Kids Club Volunteer Application by clicking here. ALL Kids Club Volunteers are background checked.)

Throughout the year, we have teams coming from around the country to serve at the Dream Center for a short-term ministry experience. Whether you are coming for a week or a weekend we would love to have you! We have hosted groups of all ages, all of whom have left an indelible mark on our community. We believe in the importance of a missions experience for all teams and do our best to make the trip affordable no matter what your church's budget. If you would like to learn more about missions at the Dream Center, CONTACT US here.

Note to Missions Teams: As the Dream Center has grown and our schedule has filled, we no longer have the ability to house teams on-site. Many teams have had a great experience staying at a local hotel while serving at the Dream Center.
